What is the RCCAO?
The RCCAO is an alliance of key industry stakeholders derived from the residential and civil construction industry.
The RCCAO was created to address the major challenges currently affecting the construction industry. It will work
together with governments and industry experts to offer realistic solutions to problems in the areas of infrastructure
development, growth planning, regulatory reform, labour shortage, skills training, health and safety and technical standards.
Our members stem from the residential and civil construction sectors and represent a collective voice of management and
labour. Management members include: employer bargaining agencies and construction/industry associations and our labour
members represent local unions engaged in central Ontario.
Together these organizations are committed to addressing industry related issues that affect both sectors: residential
and civil as well in assisting the government to find workable solutions to these issues.
What distinguishes the RCCAO from other organizations is that it was developed to satisfy the industry's need for a
well-funded organization that would undertake substantive and qualitative research and provide real solutions to
amendable situations.
